U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) and International Stability Operations Association (ISOA) are pleased to invite you to the Joint USUBC-ISOA Webinar on U.S.-Ukraine Natural Resources and Infrastructure Economic Partnership. The webinar will be held on 13 May (Tuesday) at 9:00 AM Washington, D.C. time / 4:00 PM Kyiv time.
On April 30, 2025, the United States and Ukraine signed the bilateral intergovernmental Agreement on the Establishment of a United States-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund – the cornerstone of the overall U.S.–Ukraine economic partnership on development of Ukraine’s natural resources, particularly critical minerals. This economic partnership will also necessitate substantial support across various key sectors, including infrastructure development, engineering, construction, logistics, demining, housing, insurance, financial services, security and many others.
The Webinar will focus on the following topics:
- Overview of the global landscape for the critical minerals sector
- Outline of the U.S.-Ukraine economic partnership on development of Ukraine’s natural resources, including the key points of the framework Agreement on the Establishment of a United States-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund, and prospects for the subsequent agreements
- Exploring private sector business and investment opportunities within the framework of the economic partnership
- Practical insights for companies interested in business and investment opportunities in the natural resources sector, infrastructure development and other correlated sectors
- Insights from USUBC members involved in mining and processing critical minerals in Ukraine, covering the local industry, practical stages of critical minerals projects, and an overview of what U.S. partners can expect from local partners, as well as the expectations of local partners from international investors
