The ISOA will host the 1st Annual Driving Opportunity. Attaining Success charity fundraiser at TopGolf in Ashburn, VA.  The event is dedicated to raising funds to support 20 UPO Inspire Technology Training Fellows and provides financial support for the Friends of the American University of Afghanistan and Shadow Warriors Project.

Between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, all of the scores will be totaled up and the individual with the highest score will be announced the winner of the Top Golf event and receive a prize!

*This event has a cash bar. 


A silent auction will take place during the fundraiser. Anyone can donate an auction item and everyone is encouraged to bid on items during the event to help raise additional funds for these important charities. 100 percent of the proceeds from the silent auction will go directly to the charities involved in the event. About UPO Inspire

The UPO Inspire Technology Training Initiative supports those who are often called the working poor; individuals who earn too much to qualify for public assistance, but cannot afford training for middle skill jobs.  This Initiative gives working people the opportunity to obtain better jobs and improve their lives.  And this program will also help employers recruit a more diverse workforce.

By funding technology job training, your support of the UPO Inspire Technology Training Initiative will help residents of the District of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland close the opportunity gap and take advantage of one of the most successful avenues to a living wage and pathway to the middle class. Your generosity will fund job training that will provide benefits for years to come.

UPO Inspire is working to break the cycle of poverty. In partnership with the United Planning Organization, UPO Inspire is focused on improving career prospects for those on the edge of poverty - smart, motivated, but under served individuals who are committed to pursuing a path towards the middle class. UPO Inspire provides a 6-month IT training program that provides technical training, professional development, stipends, internships, as well as career and social coaching. Because these positions are often gateway jobs to advancement, your support changes the trajectory of a life and family for years to come. UPO Inspire is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

About Shadow Warriors Project

Shadow Warriors Project is a foundation dedicated to the support of private military security contractors, conducting paramilitary security operations in some of the world's most dangerous areas. It is the only charity of its kind. Although the private security contractor has served in the military he is considered a civilian and does not receive the same support offered to injured active military or veterans. We are here to serve the private contractor by offering financial support through heartfelt donations. By easing the load of these injured warriors it allows them to focus on healing, as an individual as well as the family unit.

We are here to support those families who are dealing with the financial hardships now facing them by lifting the burden of the load so that these families can focus on healing mind, body, and spirit. 



Cancellation Policy: ISOA must receive all cancellation requests in writing by September 18, 2018. Email all cancellation requests to All refunds will be processed 3-6 weeks after the event and will be assessed a $75 processing charge for requests received by September 18, 2018. Substitutions are always accepted, but must be made in writing.
