Combating Human Trafficking in the Private Security Industry

Date: Monday, June 22, 2020
Time: 9:00 am – 10:30 am Eastern

This webinar will feature information on human trafficking, U.S. Government contracting, and risk-management tools to better identify, prevent, and address human trafficking in global supply chains. It will also highlight trends from the field, current challenges facing our industry, and mechanisms to address human trafficking risks, including achieving responsible recruitment within government and other contracting. Information will be presented on the Responsible Sourcing Tool–a website with free tools to create strong policies, improved screening and evaluation, and compliance management––and the development of a new set of tools tailored to meet the needs of the diverse private security sector, including private security contractors. There will be an interactive component allowing participants to ask questions and provide input into the tools designed to assist private security sector companies, including federal contractors, and contracting professionals.
