The ISOA Energy Committee aims to promote sustainable energy practices, improve efficiency, and influence policies. We strive to encourage energy and petroleum efficiencies that reduce waste and support the environment, while simultaneously supporting agile governmental agencies and providing a lethal Department of Defense that is not constrained by energy requirements. We will achieve this by advising on regulations, promoting incentives, and assisting in the development of sustainability technology. Most importantly, we will provide a forum to educate and inform our government and military leaders through events and resources.
Goals:
- Develop Policies & Initiatives: Advise on regulations, incentives, and energy goals.
- Educate & Engage Stakeholders: Provide resources, workshops, and events to inform governmental decision-makers.
- Infrastructure Sustainment: Advise on technology to ensure utility and military infrastructure is secure, safe, reliable, and efficient.
- Reduce Energy Consumption: Advise on strategies to minimize waste and improve efficiency to maximize capabilities
