Europe Chapter Event: Critical Infrastructure & Training
| By Ginny Maycock
On April 29, 2025, the Europe Chapter of the International Stability Operations Association (ISOA) held a Critical Infrastructure and Training workshop at Training Base Weeze in Weeze, Germany. The event was attended by more than 50 ISOA members and guests, and focused on the challenges faced by the German and EU governments regarding the protection of Critical Infrastructure in the face of increasing use of UAVs, electronic and digital attacks, and other non-traditional threats.
The workshop highlighted the importance of developing robust training capabilities in Europe, and utilizing combined US and EU experience and resources to improve our ability to respond to modern threats to stability. During the event, Constellis LLC, an American company and the owner of Constellis Advanced Training in Moyock, NC, announced a partnership with TB Weeze in which both parties committed to provide training to a larger number of clients in both the US and Europe.
We’re grateful for the efforts of Europe Chapter Director Tobias Beutgen who spearheaded this event.
