CAPT John H. Beattie
Deputy Fleet Civil Engineer, U.S. Pacific Fleet, USN
CAPT Beattie is a native of Sparta, Illinois and a graduate of Bradley University with a BS in Civil Engineering. He holds a MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, a MS in National Resource Strategy from National Defense University’s Eisenhower School, and is a graduate of the Tuck Leadership and Strategic Impact Program at Dartmouth.
His operational tours include Headquarters Company Commander and Officer-in-Charge of Detail Diego Garcia, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 74; and Training Officer/Air Detachment Officer-in-Charge, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3.
His shore tours include Assistant Resident Officer-in-Charge of Construction, Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni; Aide to the Commander, NAVFAC Atlantic; Assistant Public Works Officer, Naval Station Everett; Officer-in-Charge of Ramadi Resident Office, USACE Gulf Region Central; Public Works Operations Officer and Facilities Support Contract Manager, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton; Executive Officer, Officer-in-Charge of Construction Marine Corps Installations West; Public Works Officer, Naval Air Facility Atsugi; Public Works Officer, Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia; Facilities Sustainment Restoration and Modernization Action Officer, OPNAV N46; and Operations Officer, NAVFAC Far East.
CAPT Beattie is currently the Deputy Fleet Civil Engineer for U.S. Pacific Fleet.
CAPT Beattie is a Seabee Combat Warfare Officer, a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois, and a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps.
