COL Erik Johnson

COL Erik C. Johnson is currently the ACoS G4 for United States Army Pacific. He was commissioned in 1999 after graduating from North Georgia College as a Distinguished Military Graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree. Upon graduation, he was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Transportation Corps, detailed to the Infantry. COL Johnson’s assignments began as an Infantry Platoon Leader and Infantry Company XO with 1/506 IN (AA), 2ID, Korea. He branch transferred to the Transportation Corps, serving as a Transportation Platoon Leader, Company XO and Battalion S4 with the 528th Special Operations Support Battalion (A). He commanded multiple company commands as a Forward Support Company Commander with 1-10 Cavalry, 2-4 BCT, 4th Infantry Division, and commanded a Logistics Support Detachment and the Special Operations Logistics Support Element with Joint Special Operations Command. He served in numerous staff positions to include Support Operations Officer and Battalion Executive Officer for 3rd Special Forces Group Support Battalion (A), Support Division Chief for Joint Special Operations Command, ACoS G4 for 593rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command and the 7th Infantry Division and served as the Support Operations Officer for 8th Theater Sustainment Command at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. He commanded 1st Group Support Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group and the 402nd Army Field Support Brigade. COL Johnson’s operational deployments include rotations to Korea, Jordan, Iraq and Afghanistan. His schools include the Infantry Officer Basic Course, CGSC, JPME II, National Defense University, and the Army War College. His military awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal (2 OLC), DMSM (1 OLC), MSM (3 OLC), Expert Infantry Badge, Combat Action Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, Pathfinder Badge, and the Ranger Tab. COL Johnson is married to Jennifer Lucero-Johnson and has three children.
