David Preston
INDOPACOM Strategic Program Manager, KBR
David is the INDOPACOM Strategic Program Manager at KBR. He joined the KBR Team in 2024 and is responsible for developing a Theater strategy for INDOPACOM and supporting global requirements with a focus on Contingency Support, Operations & Maintenance, Strategic Asset Management, Logistics, and Supply Chain Services. His experience and expertise in the INDOPACOM Theater assists the KBR leadership with focus areas for operations and presence throughout the Theater, and engagements with key military and civilian leaders.
From 2017-2024, he worked in the commercial sector with DHL Express, Amazon, and V2X. Prior to his commercial career, David served in the U.S. Army as a transportation and logistics officer, retiring as a Colonel after 27 years of distinguished service. His assignments included: 10th Mountain Division, 8th Army (Korea), SDDC, 101st Airborne Division, ALCC – Heidelberg (NATO), US Army Pacific, and 8th Theater Sustainment Command. He deployed to Somalia, Iraq (2), and Afghanistan, and is a Distinguished Member of the 506th Infantry Regiment (CURRAHEE).
David and his wife Anne have been married for 33 years and live in Toano, VA. They have three children: Sarah (age 28), Nathan (age 23), and Matthew (age 20) – USMA Class of 2026.
