Elizabeth Lee “Ellee” Bosman is a national security and foreign policy executive with over two decades of experience advancing U.S. strategic interests through diplomacy, development, legal leadership, and interagency coordination. An international attorney and senior diplomat, she has led missions and complex initiatives across Africa, Latin America, and conflict zones including South Sudan, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka.
In Peru, she managed a $550M portfolio and led 129 staff to disrupt transnational criminal networks, counter human trafficking, reduce irregular migration, and respond to pandemics. She advanced digital and AI diplomacy, shaped strategic communications, and mobilized over $100M in public-private partnerships.
As Development Advisor to U.S. Southern Command, she was a key architect of interagency strategies to counter authoritarian influence and enhance civilian-military engagement. Her leadership spans high-stakes negotiations—securing $1.14B in agreements with African governments and multilateral banks—and serving as legal advisor to peace processes.
A trusted voice on governance and security policy with extensive overseas experience, she regularly briefs senior military and interagency leaders. Raised on a North Florida cattle ranch, Ellee brings grounded pragmatism to global challenges. She holds degrees from Harvard (A.B., magna cum laude) and American University (J.D., summa cum laude).
