Col (res) Marc Lemmermann, PhD

Born in Hamburg, Marc joined the German Armed Forces in 1988. He graduated from US Army Aviation School elementary rotor wing course in 1992.  After studying Political Science, he received his PhD in Social-Economic Sciences in 2000. The same year he did post graduate studies at the George Washington University.

In 2000 he left active duty and joined the reserves. After working several years in the banking business, he got deployed as Head of Information Operations with the DEU Armed Forces to ISAF. Returning back home he started working for a contractor company, joining Rheinmetall in 2010.

Today he is Head of sales of Rheinmetall Project Solutions GmbH. Marc is living in Schleswig-Holstein, the “real north of Germany”. He is President of the Reservist Association in his state.
