Sam Floyd is a global strategic sourcing executive and a retired Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army, bringing a unique blend of military leadership experience and private sector expertise. He is a strategic leader with a proven track record of driving transformative change and measurable business impact across global supply chain organizations within multinational corporations. He is renowned for working capital improvements, driving operational excellence, and accelerating business transformation through the strategic alignment of all departments and stakeholders.

Among his many leadership and executive roles, Sam served as Vice President of Business Development for Ecolog International, Vice President and General Manager for ACCL International, Senior Director of Strategy and Program Management for enVista, Vice President of Supply Chain, Logistics Business Line & Contingency Operations for DynCorp, and Military Aide to the President for the United States Army. During his tenure with these organizations, Sam notably managed global sourcing and procurement in 16 countries, executing $1B in awarded contracts oversaw a $35M Iraq HRMS contract with deliverables over 3 years, led an international procurement team that won $1.2B in large government contracts, negotiated 108 critical subcontracts valued at $350M for DynCorp International, and negotiated over $13M in cost savings through service agreement negotiations.

Sam joined GBC Food Services as President on June 1, 2023, and then as President on and remained in that position until June 5, 2024. During that year he led the company to increase profits of over 126%.

Now with Parsons Corporations, he serves as the Executive Senior Director for Business Development and is overall responsible for pursuing work in Supply Chain and Logistics.

Sam has a Master of Business Administration degree from Central Michigan University, College of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois. He is also certified in ProSci Change Management, proficient in CPM and Six Sigma, and holds Top Secret clearance with the United States Army.
